Winter is the time when most house fires occur. That makes our support of the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service’s Safehome program even more essential.
Safehome helps Queenslanders to identify fire and safety hazards in and around their homes. If you book a Safehome visit, an operational firefighter will visit your home to provide free advice about fire safety issues and steps you can take to eliminate them.

How we're helping
With our support, the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service has been able to provide over 8,000 Safehome visits since 2006, giving Queenslanders advice on the correct positioning, maintenance and replacement of smoke alarms, preparation of fire evacuation plans, and other general household fire safety tips.
